Depression

Depression can affect how you think, feel, and function in daily life. It may show up as persistent sadness, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, loss of interest in things you once enjoyed, or changes in sleep and appetite. Treatment involves understanding the root causes of your symptoms, developing new coping skills, and gently rebuilding motivation and hope. At our Double Bay psychology practice, we provide compassionate, evidence-based care and work closely with your GP and other health professionals to support your recovery and wellbeing.

Anxiety and Stress

Eating Disorders

Bulimia and Binge Eating disorder manifest in unhealthy relationships with food. binge eating followed by behaviours such as self-induced vomiting or excessive exercise to avoid weight gain or consuming large amounts of food while feeling a loss of control overeating habits. Treatment includes developing healthier relationships with food and your body, finding better ways to manage emotions, build self-acceptance and a more positive food experience. In our Double Bay psychology practice, we collaborate with your GP, psychiatrist, and dietician specialists.

ADHD and Autism

We embrace a neurodiverse approach to supporting clients with ADHD and Autism, recognising and valuing the unique ways people process information. Grief and Loss

Grief and Loss can be experienced when encountering a death, relationship breakdown, or significant life change, emotions like sadness, anger, confusion, and relief are common. Mourning varies greatly among cultural background and beliefs that may influence grief expression and processing. We recognise that while experiencing grief and loss is normal and important for coping, sometimes you need support from a therapist to help you navigate these emotions and past experiences with grief counselling.
